Victor entered his painting, Eagle's Nest in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society 27th Annual BEST OF AMERICA Exhibition. Since 1991, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) has been showcasing the remarkable talents of thousands of oil and acrylic painters.
Victor has included his painting Buddies in the American Plains Artists 32nd Annual Juried Exhibit & Sale. The 2017 Awards Juror is Alfredo Rodriguez.
Happy to announce Victor will show two fo his Western paintings, Roping a Calf and Prince in the Breckenridge 26th Annual Juried Art Show & Competition. This year's juror is John Cook, whos exhibitions include the prestigious W H Patterson gallery in London, with members of Parliament visiting. As well as shows in New York, Colorado, California, Florida, South Carolina, Indiana, Arizona, and many venues from Texas and Oklahoma.
Victor entered his painting of Precious and was accepted into the Oil Painters of America’s Twenty-sixth Annual National Exhibition to be held at Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio from May 12 through June 10, 2017.
Victor Victor was chosen as a Spotlight Artist in the May, 2017 edition of Southwest Art Magazine along with his painting, Precious.
Victor was selected as a finalist in Portraiture with his painting The Girl Next Store in the 12th International ARC Salon Competition. This year there were 1,006 finalist works by 640 artists from 63 countries, representing 32% of works submitted.
Victor has been invited to show his painting, Blaze in Northern Colorado’s Premier Art Show. The National Greeley Art Exhibition April 28, 29, 30, 2017. This national juried show is dedicated to funding scholarships to outstanding Weld County Students who desire to pursue careers in the arts.
Beginning June 3, 2016, St. Louis residents will have the opportunity to experience some of the world's finest botanical artwork, created by members of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA), at The Beauty of Botanicals: A Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Botanical Art, hosted by OA Gallery, the premier representational art gallery in St. Louis.
A large crowd was on hand at the reception and awards presentation of the 2016 50th Anniversary of the National Greeley Art exhibition held at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley CO April 29, 2016. Juror Don Weller had his job cut out to jury 100 pieces of two dimension and nine pieces of three dimension art from the 374 entries for the show.

Cowboy True is a celebration to honor actual cowboys and the art, gear and trappings that come from their daily lives. This unique weekend of cowboy art, music and food will be held at Bridwell Agriculture Center on 111 N. Burnett in Wichita Falls, TX on April 1 & 2 , 2016.
Exhibit and show hours: Friday, April 1: Set up, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Bridwell Ag Center garage doors open from 8:00a.m.-11:00a.m.; doors will close at 11:00a.m.); Art show judging, 4:00 p.m.; Opening reception and exhibit, 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2: Public viewing of exhibit, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Exhibit, dinner and auction, 5:30p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Victor was selected as 1 of 13 finalists chosen in Southwest Art magazine's, Artistic Excellence Art Competition. As a finalist, Victor's work Brahma Bull, "Old Red" was published in the Dec. 2015 issue, Southwest Art magazine Artistic Excellence Portfolio and on the Southwest Art website.
What inspired this painting? "The Old West comes to life twice daily when genuine Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns down Exchange Avenue in Fort Worth, TX. That is where I first saw Old Red on a hot July day, with his head hung low and looking hot and tired. I knew I had to capture that iconic face."

The Contemporary Western Art Show and Sale Will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Mountain Oyster Club. The Mountain Oyster Art Show is one of the oldest and best known contemporary western art shows in the country. For forty three years both emerging and established western artists have shown their works in the historic setting of the Mountain Oyster Club. Each year there are approximately 200 artist participants representing over 400 works seen by the public for the very first time.
Cottonwood Art Festival is a semi-annual event which features works from the nation's top visual artists. Located in scenic Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas, this prestigious art show has been a part of Richardson life for over forty years.
The festival is Saturday, October 3, 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday, October 4, 10 AM to 5 PM. Cottonwood Park is located at 1321 W. Belt Line Road, one block east of Coit Road in Richardson, TX. Parking and admission are free. The artists’ works are available for purchase, as are food and beverages, and some children’s events require a fee.
After completing 2 successful years, Western Trappings on The Llano is excited about the 2015 exhibit and sale. Several changes were made this year with the most important being the opening date of the exhibit has been moved to September 18, 2015 and the ending date has moved to November 15, 2015. The exhibit will be held in the Llano County Historical Museum, located at 310 Bessemer. We are excited about these changes and look forward to seeing everyone in Llano, Texas for a great time and a great exhibit.
Exhibit opens September 19, 2015 – open to the general public 9 am to 5 pm and during normal museum hours for the duration of the exhibit. Free admission.
Auction – September 19, 2015 – 1 pm at the American Legion Hall.
We're on our way for the 24th Annual Juried Art Show, Competition and Sale with this year's juror, Randy Meador, voted Texas Watercolorist of the Year twice. The exhibition will be in our Main and East Galleries from July 28th through September 5th, 2015. This is an international as well as national show.
